There is no limit to what you can learn! Outdoor camping techniques, crafts, games, and leadership training are only a few of the valuable skills you'll gain as a young leader.
- Leader Orientation - 1-2 hours (Section Scouter): (SIT, AL) Provides an introductory briefing on what is expected of a new SIT or AL. This is an opportunity to map out the required training for the next 12 to 18 months.
- Woodbadge One - 2 days (Council): (SIT) Provides one day of "Core" training on administration, management, leadership and risk management; and one day of "Section" specific activities training. There is a "Section" day for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers. As Scouters move from one Section to a higher lever Section, they take the "Section" level training only (the "Core" day does not have to be repeated).
- Standard First Aid - 2 days (Group): (S, V, R, AL, SIT) either St. Johns Ambulance or Red Cross standard first aid and CPR.
- Wilderness First Aid - 3 days (Group): (V, R, SIT) 3 days of first aid training in the wilderness. The focus is on supporting life and transporting casualties when medical help is not immediately available and conditions are extreme.
- PL/APL Training Course - 2 days (Group/Area): (S) fun weekend program of leadership skills for Patrol Leaders and Assistants Patrol Leaders<
- Sixer/Second Workshop - 1-2 days (Section/Group): (C) a weekend covering leadership skills for sixers and seconders.
- Climbing Wall Certification - 2 days (Council): (SIT, V, R) - become certified to supervise the Coucnil climbing wall
