The Standard First Aid badge can be worn on our uniforms. It is identified as an "Agency Badge" in the uniform diagrams. Leaders can wear the badge on their shirt on the right sleeve, and Scouts can wear it on their sash.

2nd St. Albert Scouts is making an effort to ensure that at least two leaders in each Section are certified for Standard First Aid and CPR. Certifications are good for a 3 year period.

First Aid training is also being identified as an important of all youth programs except for Beavers. We are looking at which courses to provide to Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Scouters-in-Training and Activity Leaders. We will have more information in a future article.
