2007 Medal of Good Service Recipient

2nd St. Albert Scout Group would like to extend congratulations to Scouter Krys Koniecko for receiving the "Medal of Good Service" from Northern Lights Council at the Annual Awards Dinner held on May 12th, 2007. Each year, our Concil presents various awards to deserving youths and adults who serve Scouts and their communities.

The "Medal of Good Service" is presented to those deserving adult leaders for good service to Scouting.

Krys has been involved in Scouting since 1998 as a Beaver Leader, Group Administrator and Group Commissioner. She has taken extra responsibilities which included administration for the St. Albert Kub Kar Rally. As a Group Commissioner she faced many challenging situations which she handled in a professional manner. Her conduct with those difficult set of circumstances has made her an exemplary role model as a Leader.

Krys served as our Group Commissioner from 2004-06 and has served as our Group's Popcorn Fundraiser Coordinator for the past two years.

Our congratulations also go to Tony and Virginia Lovell for receiving Long Service Awards for 30 years service to Scouting. Tony is currently serving as the Area Commissioner for the Buffalo Plains Area and is reponsible for assisting 2nd St. Albert Scout Group.
