We want to invite you and your children to try us out by attending two regular meetings for FREE.

We can offer your youngster an opportunity to participate in the youth program appropriate to their age group. 2nd St. Albert Scout Group runs active youth programs for:

• Tuesday night Beavers boys and girls (5 - 7 years old)
• Wednesday night Beavers boys and girls (5 - 7 years old)
• Monday night Cubs boys and girls (8 - 11 years old)
• Wednesday night Scouts boys and girls (11 - 14 years old)
• Venturers teens (14 - 17 years old)
• Rovers men and women (18 - 26 years old)

Registration Fees Revised!

Effective February 16th, 2008 we will be accepting "half-year" registrations for the rest of the 2007 - 08 Scouting year. The revised fees for 2007-08 are:

• Youth - reduced to $80
  
• Adult - $0 (fee paid for by Council)
  
• Family (3 or more youth) - $370
  

Submitting an Application

It's really simple:

• For  youth complete a Youth Application Form and submit it with a cheque made out to 2nd St. Albert Scout Group for the registration fee and mail it or deliver it to the Group Registrar, Curtis Aikens.
  
  
• For  adult leaders complete the first two pages of the Adult Application for Membership and submit it to the Group Commissioner through your Section Leader, Section Leaders. There are no registration fees for leaders.
  
  
• For  parent volunteers complete the first two pages of the Adult Application for Membership and submit it to the Group Commissioner through your Section Leader, Section Leaders. There are no registration fees for parent volunteers.
  
  When filling out the application form, please indicate which youth Section (Beavers, Cubs, or Scouts) you are volunteering for and select "Other" and indicate "Parent Volunteer". Parent volunteers will become registered adult volunteers with Scouts Canada and will be insured for Scouting activities. All Parent Volunteers must be screened and approved in the same manner as Scout Leaders (includes a reference check of three personal references and a police records check).
