Our Group this year

2nd St. Albert Scout Group had 85 youth and
27 adult leaders and parent volunteers in 2007-08 making it one of the largest and most active Scout Groups in St. Albert.
We have experienced a phenominal 57% growth rate last year. We expect registrations to be up again this year, so we will be running one scout troop, two cub packs and four beaver colonies. We offer a full range of program activities including camping, hiking, and tours of musuems and nature centres.
It takes many volunteers who work as Scouters (leaders) or in support roles on our Group Committee.
Many of our leaders are parents of our program participants, previous Scouts who have grown up through the program, or students looking for volunteer opportunities.
Volunteers Needed
We need your help
If you have an interest in teaching children and enjoy the outdoors, become a leader in one of our Beaver colonies, Cub Packs or our Scout Troop.
Becoming Optimistic
