Our Group this year

2nd St. Albert Scout Group has 85 youth and
27 adult leaders and parent volunteers making it one of the largest and most active Scout Groups in St. Albert.
We have experienced a phenominal 57% growth rate from last year. We have 7 Scouts, 25 Cubs and 54 Beavers (in two colonies). We offer a full range of program activities including camping, hiking, and tours of musuems and nature centres.
It takes many volunteers who work as Scouters (leaders) or in support roles on the Group Committee.
Many of our leaders are parents of our program participants, previous Scouts who have grown up through the program, or students looking for volunteer opportunities. If you have an interest in teaching children and enjoy the outdoors, become a leader with Scouts Canada!
