Remembrance Day Parade

Dear Parents

As a Group, we are going participate in the Remembrance Day Parade on November 11th. Here is some more detail:

• Activity Title:   Remembrance Day Parade
• Section(s) Participating:   All
• Dates:   10:30 am November 11th, 2007
• Outline of Activities:   All youth and leaders will participate in the parade. After the parade, all youth, leaders and parents are invited to the basement of the St. Albert Community Centre on Perron Street for hot chocolate and donuts.
• Location:   Everyone is to meet at the eagle on St. Thomas Street across from the Court House at 10:30 am.
• Leader in Charge:   Greg Cowan
• Cost:   No cost
• Dress:   Full uniform. Please ensure that youth are dressed to stand outdoors for up to 2 hours.
• How Parents Can Help:   As there will be a lot of people there, we ask parents not to drop their children off and leave. All parents are to stay near their children at the eagle until we walk onto the parade. Parents are then asked to gather as near as possible to the Cenotaph so that you can pick up your youngster once the parade is dismissed. We will keep all the youth near the Cenotaph until they are picked up by their respective parent(s).
